CJC-1295 with DAC is a synthetic, modified analog of the N-terminal portion of human growth hormone-releasing hormone, also known as GHRH or GRF. It has been investigated in controlled research settings for its interaction with the GHRH receptor and its associated biochemical signaling pathways.
The compound incorporates a Drug Affinity Complex, abbreviated as DAC. This modification contains a reactive group designed to form a covalent bond with circulating proteins, particularly albumin. Research has examined how this protein binding alters the peptide’s pharmacokinetic profile and substantially extends its persistence compared with non-DAC GHRH analogs.
Full research description
Laboratory and clinical research has evaluated CJC-1295 in relation to GHRH-receptor activation, growth hormone signaling, insulin-like growth factor signaling, peptide stability, albumin binding, and prolonged biological activity. These research findings should not be interpreted as establishing the safety, efficacy, appropriate dosage, or suitability of this material for human or veterinary use.
DAC versus non-DAC research analogs
CJC-1295 with DAC
The DAC modification enables CJC-1295 to bind to endogenous albumin, resulting in a substantially longer experimentally observed half-life and duration of activity than shorter-acting GHRH analogs. Research has also examined whether pulsatile growth-hormone secretion can remain detectable during prolonged receptor stimulation.
Modified GRF (1-29), without DAC
Modified GRF (1-29) is a shorter-acting GHRH analog that does not contain the albumin-binding DAC component. It is investigated separately in studies concerning GHRH-receptor signaling, peptide stability, and shorter-duration biological activity.
The names CJC-1295 without DAC and Modified GRF (1-29) are frequently used interchangeably by commercial suppliers. However, they are not chemically identical to CJC-1295 with DAC, and product identity should be established using analytical documentation rather than naming conventions alone.
Storage & handling
Before reconstitution. Keep the sealed vial cool and dark. Lyophilized peptides are stable this way for the period stated on the certificate.
Reconstitution. Add bacteriostatic water slowly against the inside wall of the vial. Swirl gently to dissolve — never shake, as agitation can damage the peptide chain.
After reconstitution. Store refrigerated and use within the window appropriate for the compound under study. Do not freeze once in solution.
Check that the batch code on the label matches your packing slip on arrival.
COA & testing
Every batch is analysed by an independent laboratory before it is listed. The method for this compound is HPLC-UV 214nm.
The certificate shows the main peak purity, the impurity profile, the test date and the laboratory that performed it — tied to the batch code printed on your vial.
