Acetic Acid Water is an aqueous laboratory solution containing acetic acid in purified water. Acetic acid, also known as ethanoic acid, is a small organic carboxylic acid with the molecular formula C₂H₄O₂.

This product is supplied solely as a laboratory research reagent. It is not represented as sterile, pyrogen-free, injectable, USP-grade, pharmaceutical-grade, or suitable for reconstituting materials intended for administration.
FDA-listed Acetic Acid Irrigation USP is a separate regulated pharmaceutical preparation with defined composition, sterility, pH, labeling, and intended medical use. For example, a listed 0.25% product is manufactured using glacial acetic acid in Water for Injection and is labeled specifically for irrigation—not injection. Those specifications and uses do not apply to this laboratory material.
Because concentrated acetic acid can irritate or damage the eyes, skin, respiratory tract, and mucous membranes, appropriate laboratory protective equipment and handling controls should be used. The relevant safety data sheet should be reviewed before handling.

Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Keep the stopper sterile between draws and do not use if the solution appears cloudy or discoloured.
